6 hour jungle tour is great for active travelers with limited time. On a jungle trek, you can experience the diverse nature of the ray forest surrounding Bukit Lawang in one day. On a six-hour jungle trek, you can get to know the orangutans and other wild animals of the rainforest. During the jungle trek, our guides will tell you basic information about the local plants, trees and insects.

WHAT TO BRING:

Suitable hiking shoes or sports shoes, water bottle 1.5l, insect repellent, sunscreen, daypack, long socks against leeches, raincoat, swimwear, towel, toilet paper.

JUNGLE TREK DESCRIPTION:

Our jungle excursion starts at 9 a.m. from our accommodation at Jungle River House and ends there also at 12-1 p.m. at the latest. Our English-speaking guide will lead you on a hike into the jungle of the national park area. During the jungle tour, we take breaks in suitable places and enjoy a fruit snack in the middle of the rainforest. During the trip, you get to see and experience wildlife and nature and hear basic information about local plants and animals. At the end of the trip, we return to our accommodation at Jungle River House. In the National Park, we always follow its rules: Do not leave trash or food in the rainforest. Do not touch or feed wild animals. Don’t make a fuss.
